Scientific Metals Surges
Since its inception in January 2015 Energy & Gold has covered quite a few companies that have had big gains in the market such NexGen Energy (TSX:NXE) , Lithium X (TSX-V:LIX), Select Sands (TSX-V:SNS), and Siyata Mobile (TSX-V: SIM) to name a few. Our latest high riser is a company we have covered several times this year, Scientific Metals (TSX-V: STM):
STM is up more than 450% year-to-date and more than 50% since our featured post from February in which Energy & Gold spotlighted the Iron Creek Cobalt Project and the potential perfect storm which could tremendously benefit STM shareholders.
In our February piece we said the following regarding STM’s potential for bridging the valuation gap with cobalt peer eCobalt Solutions (TSX:ECS):
“There is substantial potential for STM shares to continue moving higher, bridging the gap with ECS, as the company moves forward with its 2017 exploration program and completes a compliant, and potentially larger, 43-101 estimate at Iron Creek.”
And substantial potential there was. Since the date of our February piece STM shares have risen more than 50% while ECS shares have fallen nearly 5%:
Energy & Gold plans to update the STM story in the next couple of months as news becomes available from some of the work programs that are currently underway (underground sampling, metallurgical testing, surface core drilling, etc.).
