NexGen Returns Strongest Assay to Date in the A3 Shear

A summary of today’s release from NexGen Energy:

  • The best hole drilled to date in the A3 shear at the Arrow Zone with hole AR-15-61c2 returning 10.5 m at 8.52 U3O8 and an additional interval of 37.0 m at 6.30% U3O8 including 15.0 m at 10.10% U3O8,
  • Hole AR-15-61c2 is the best continuous GT (236) received from the A3 shear to date,
  • Hole AR-15-59c3 was drilled in the currently defined southwest extent of the A3 shear and returned 4.5 m at 13.17% U3O8.

In summary, the A3 is now starting to identify higher grade zones within it that are open, like the A2 did at the start of summer 2015.

Furthermore, with hole –59c3 returning high-grade uranium mineralization in the current southwestern edge of the A3 shear, leaves this part of the shear highly prospective for our winter 2016 program, which is now underway.

Hole AR-15-62 (30.35m of off-scale radioactivity) is the only hole from summer 2015 program that remains pending. Based on scintillometer results, this hole could be the most strongly mineralized hole to date at Arrow.

Once hole –62 is returned, the maiden resource estimate for Arrow will commence.  Important to note, the maiden resource will not include any results from the current winter 2016 program which commenced last week.
